I can't decide if this is a cheap Fury GT that would break the bank to restore or an expensive parts car. Obviously a LOT of body work needed but a GT for $3500...…

It's not far from me but please don't ask me to go look at it for you because I may talk myself into buying it as a parts car. Of course I would struggle a long time to part out a GT and probably end up talking myself into storing it until I get my 69 Fury done.

Not seen before…………Thanks!!
Would like to see the interior , fendertag , engine area....

5500 miles? Left front wheel leaning inward - ball joint fail or rust or ??? Priced as a parts car though. Decals look too good to maybe have many miles on it - just sat and rusted away most of its existance?

Based on the front valance I’m guessing it was dragged out of the dirt recently.

Ouch ... That's a lot of bodywork.
And the leaning wheel does not give a good message about what's underneath either.

Has the look of low mileage left in the elements, probably after some damage planned to fix up some time. Shame.

Sad, by the looks of the outer body rust, there is probably nothing left of the floors. I agree with DeMatt, probably was left sitting on the dirt which does not bode well for the frame rails. That may have caused the front suspension to rust apart since it does not appear to have been hit. I am guessing that is probably 105k on the car. Seller clearly knows nothing about the car or the production numbers. Not going to be a whole lot of parts outside of the running gear. Never know though, might pop the hood and find a 6BBL still inside. This even so is going to be a $75k or greater restoration.

Zooming in on the seats - it looks like the rear and front buckets are still very savable. The passenger door panel too. Of course this is from looking through reflective glass and only looking at the upper half portion. I think it is very very possible this is low mileage car that like you said - was left in a VERY open garage space or barn.

Nice color combo and appears to be complete. Rust is an issue but that can be overcome especially if you can do the work yourself. After all, each year there are less and less GT's to pick from, not more.

What do you guys figure the colour combo is on that one? As mentioned it wouldn't hurt to find out the engine code. Way too big of a project for me.

That does appear to be a very old inspection sticker on the windshield. Assuming it's a Pennsylvania sticker, it's certainly prior to 1984, and possibly much older than that.

If it's a non-undercoat car, there's no question that everything is completely rotted underneath, but if it does have the undercoating, the body my not be all that bad. The subframes didn't have the greatest paint on them, so it's no surprise that this one is toast. Since the *** end seems to be sitting up where it belongs, I'd put my money on an undercoated car. Still, it's gonna take a complete, rust-free donor car to bring this one back to life. I would also expect the engine to be seized solid, and probably not rebuildable. The exhaust would have rotted off decades ago, allowing moist air to easily get up into the engine.
