1970 Plymouth Sport Fury GT - Seat belt's clips mounted on the top of center console

I owned a 70 that had those clips.
It was an Aug 69 build, maybe that plays a role that it was a 69 holdover thing?

FWIW, those clips are the narrower version for the "deluxe" seat belts. These guys sell repops for the rear seat retainers.

Just for the info: Here’s a few pictures of my 1969 Sport Fury console with seat belt clips , shortly after I removed it from my parts car . These clips are a little bit different than 70/71 clips. For lack of a better term they have a wear plate moulded to The bottom of the clip . Probably to stop The seatbelt buckle from scratching the console.

Here is a couple of clips that a guy had made out of stainless steel at his local machine shop . What I really like about these is not only do they look good the clip will never breaking off .
