Hello,

I need to know how to replace the bulb in the front passenger side marker light on my 1970 Chrysler Newport. The only "easy" way I see to do so is to unscrew the assembly form the outside of the fender. It doesn't want to come off. I figure there has to be something holding it in place from behind. There is no direct access to the backside of the light to simply remove and replace the bulb. Do I need to disassemble the fender to get at it?
In the event it makes a difference, this is a convertible. Any help in confirming the procedure is appreciated. I don't want to break the bezel by giving too much English.

Thanks,
Paul

Easy enough...

Open the hood. See the radiator support? Reach around from the engine side (near the horns) and you can touch the back of the light.

The socket should pull out, but if it doesn't, you can unscrew the two nuts and remove the entire piece. Look in your trunk at the rear markers for reference.
