Looks like it will need both rear quarters and probably wheel houses and trunk floor to do the job right. Looks to have spent considerable time on salt covered roads to have that level of rust. Most likely a lot more rust underneath. This is a good parts car at about $1500 and a joke at the $8k asking price.

$1500 parts car sounds about right.

Yes, this one has been for sale for a while now (at least october of last year).

I got very interested in the car up to a point, and called the owner at least 3 times. But he was more interested in talking about politics and ranting about its work and its life, than giving me info about the car, or even trying to sell it ! I had to insist to get some pictures and they were few (I must say that he sent me no picture whatsoever about that rear quarter).

In the end, I saw that it was a formal top, and since it's not my taste, I let it go.

I remember the ad from last year on CL. Think he was an angry seller as in “ I know what I have, don’t waste my time “ blah blah. Reality is setting in now I would think .

I don´t get why the formal roofline bothers so many people :poke:

I’m sure nobody is paying him 8g for the car PH29 roof in this condition maybe $2500 top

I don't know about it being a parts car, it's a complete 70 Sport Fury 2dr, those aren't falling from trees anymore.
But yes, it's a money pit and way overpriced.

I'm digging this steering wheel!
