I think they look better and are more desirable all stock (minus the rear quarter damage)....................

I think it's hot. I love that scoop, and it works well with this car. Wheels aren't bad either.

Seems to me an excellent candidate for restoration: ditch those carbs, put a 4bbl 750 Holley in its place, replace the hood with a stock one, and get a set of 15" whitewalls with road wheels. I have a steering wheel for it already.... But is that really 50 grand he is asking for it...? Cheez...

Given the photo of the engine with the front clip off the vehicle, frame and suspension pieces powder coated, etc., I suspect a restoration has already been done on the car and that is likely why he is asking $50K (plus the engine upgrades factored in and the wheels might be expensive even if not desirable to me). If my speculation is correct, then the car might be worth it to a motivated and well-heeled buyer. Triple black (or any color actually) two door 1969 - 1971 300s are a rare commodity either here in the U.S. or anywhere for that matter anymore given the strong demand for them.

In just another comment from my side, has anyone ever seen a "Lemon Twist" bright yellow 71 300 ever? I have a New Yorker in that color and I have seen another NY in that color, but never a 71 300..........

Not a '71, but how about a factory Lemon Twist 1970 300 four door hardtop?

This particular car was for sale at a classic car dealer near me about 23 years ago. It had a black vinyl top and black interior, along with the standard issue 300 wheel covers. It was a very clean, unmolested car. I think the asking price was around $4K, which was crazy money for a 4 door back then, considering you could buy a very nice 300 coupe for $2500 at the time.

I guess this is not the right color yellow?

My friend's car. He's a true MOPAR guy. Owns/used to own bunch of cool classic MOPARs. This car is fast :D He put tons of money into it. I'm not in position to comment on the price but I'm sure if the right person shows up he will negotiate.

I agree. No doubt about any of that. I was merely pointing out that it would be very easy to bring it back to OEM specification, which is how this car should be presented, IMHO.

Beautiful car.

Edit: Adorable lemon twist Cuda you have.

Correct.

The light yellow on the pictured car was called Daffodil Yellow for a few years, then the name was changed to Antique Ivory. It was a very popular color on C bodies from 1965 to 1970.
