1971 Chrysler Newport 4dr Hardtop - $13,500 - Dallas, Texas

FB Description

Located in east plano texas. Clean tx title. Car is only for a serious collector of these. YES I WILL WORK WITH OVERSEAS BUYERS.. 74000 mile chrysler newport survivor.. selling from my personal collection i have had this car since 2013. Car has the fender tag. The numbers match 383 2bbl engine. Numbers match 727 transmission. 8 3/4 rear end 749 case. 3.23 rear gears. Car is its original gold color.. has had 1 repaint. It shines up nice. Has the factory trunk jack and all the hardware. Factory cloth seats. Very good shape. Perfect dashpad. Car has never been wrecked. I have maintained this car very well to be a daily driver in which it is currently used for. Everything is in working order.. cold AC. Warm heat. There is 1 spot in the paint thats bad which is pictured. The only modification that was done to the car was dual exhaust and chrome tips.. that was just something i wanted done. I take good care of the car but its time for its next caretaker. Thank you

@cuda hunter -- feel like getting a twin ( CL43L1C244290 ) for Jabber? FL6 is a very nice color.

Edit: attached are the photos of the rougher spots -- one to which the ad refers ("bad spot") and the two lower quarters (road rash only, it seems, but I'd want to see the inside).

Wow. Aztec gold with a Tan top and a beige interior. I notice that the beige interior has a tan dash pad.
That is a stunning looking car and color combination.

And sand pebble beige paint on the door tops and interior bits.
may of 71, kinda late build.

I have to look and consider it.

As I look at the car I don't see an area where BL1 would have been painted on the interior door tops like B's. Where would the BL1 come into play?

Between the door weatherstrip and door panel. Basically the "inside" of the door.

I think the interior color combo may have only been used in 1971. My '71 300 has the same thing, and so did another '71 that was owned by a friend of mine.

So this car lost it's beige color on the doors when the second recoat of paint was installed. I don't see the beige paint anywhere in the pics.

I'll try to get you a photo today. It's one of those things that's much easier to show than it is to explain.

I was surprised to see that the doors on the '71 300 did not have the inner parts painted tan. My '70 Newport Custom does have the interior color on the doors.
