So you bought DP43M2F210916 -- well done!

I own a 1971 Monaco 2dr that was originally GY9 -- see this thread. I would love to read about your repair work!

plenty of repairs! The rust is not thorough - but boy - all four tires were shot- radiator clutch fan falling off, all fuel and tank vent lines were shot. Heater core was shut off. Carb has flat spot. Plugs wires cap rotor air filter trans mount battery & battery cable fuel filter rear brake hoses water pump belt ps belt u joint gear oil alternator belt....thing was a death trap. Owner stated that he would be comfortable driving it anywhere - but here is the tire that he said passed inspection:

I have a 1972 Polara but the front end of the Monaco is timeless, I hope to see your car at some of the CT. shows this Summer.

How are the Galaxy tires? I found the manufacturer site years ago, but haven't found again. Claim to have high speed sticky 15" tires and white walls.

Absolutely most awesome machine. Only made in 72/73. Even then some parts weren't interchangeable. Rear tail lights & stuff. I have sooooo many parts for this model & a pretty stripped out parts car. I would love to have a working model but I have 11 cars & I'm 64 so time is running out.

Nice, looking car,not worth 7500.00!! Where do people come up with these unreal prices!!! It's a 4 door!!! Pound it it in the ground, drive it!!!!!
Might surprise you to know that prices are rising on Fusey cars, and 4-dr models with good options, good colors, etc, have developed a following willing to pay some money for them.

WELLLLLLLL.... BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!

This list doesnt even include the 4 new tires/install. Doesnt include the faulty fuel pump on the carb, pr the exhaust leak. the discount I negotiated has been more than twice gobbled up by
the actual - rather than stated - condition of the car. Labor of Love indeed... Caveat Emptor!
