    1972 Dodge Polara Coupe - $4,000 - Bolingbrook, Illinois

    FB Description

1972 Polara, selling for my father. odo reads 14k. I was given the “ran and drove” when i parked it speech. Engine is not seized, feel free to bring breaker bar/ratchet. Would prefer not trying to start it, unsure of fuel age. 4k obo, just taking up space.

I'm disappointed at the under hood shot, I was certain BB. Could be a sweet deal for someone especially if there's Bucket seats in there.

This Polara must of been a beauty back in '72.

I reached out. Seller answered a couple of questions but then balked after I insisted on photos of the rust-prone areas (rear quarters, trunk pan, bottom of rear window, rear rail extensions, front stub -- this is an Illinois car after all). Told me that my request for those photos showed that I was "not interested" and a "tire kicker." I am sure it will sell, but it won't be to me.

Funny that, as I was genuinely interested in this triple-black Polara Custom -- even more so after I saw the M4X9 vinyl interior (improved bench, no buckets). Note the cornering lights and the cruise control, another couple of pluses in my book. I might even have bought it on pics only and taken a gamble on the engine, if only the seller (flipper? note the trailer) had just given me some clue about the state of rust. Oh well...

He's a douche. He wants an idiot to buy so he doesn't have to explain anything.
