Not mine. The car is being advertised for sale on FB at $6.5k, but it is negotiable. The seller was helpful in responding to me over the weekend, but I understand from a fellow member that, since I passed on the car two days ago, he has become a bit disillusioned by his interactions with a bunch of low-ballers (I made no such offer).
The car is said to be numbers-matching. I believe, though, that CS43T2C303917 has been repainted. The seller does not know; what led me to this conclusion (after helpful discussions with a couple of knowledgeable members) are the color of the primer and the coat thickness--see the chip picture below. Regardless, if it has been repainted, then the paint job looks (very) good to me.
The seller, who bought the car from his boss' FIL, says that the car looks really good and there is not a speck of rust anywhere. My gut tells me to believe him. I do not see a single issue with the vinyl top or the rear window area, either. FWIW, the car was apparently garage-kept and left outside only on vacation trips (there is a trailer hitch in the back).
The interior is in overall good condition, with the main issues being (from what I have seen in the pics and the videos) a cracked dash pad and a cracked driver-side A-pillar cover. The carpets appear to have been replaced, at least in the front. On a minor note, a seam needs repair on the front seat and another needs the same on the back seat. I am not qualified to say if those are a minor repair for the right person, or if they would require re-upholstering to be perfect.
The engine runs (sounds good in video the seller sent to me) but the car had sat for 8-10 years prior to the purchase and so the gas tank had to be cleaned up, with new mechanical fuel pump and filter. Still, the seller says that even now the car gets starved of gas after about 10 minutes.
As for the power toys, the seller has checked the seats (work!) and the horn (does not). He has not tested the power windows given the cold weather. The heater is said to work, but he does not know about the A/C (manual H51).
This car looks really good, but I have decided that it is not for me.
