Ad sayz Monaco Patrick? Wonder do we have anyone here that calls Calgary home that could check this one out. Paint pealing, Mis-matched tirez, 43 year old grocery getter with only 80,000KM? wonder how long it's been sitting in those weedz without the engine turning over. Me smellz ground hawgz campin' in the back seat and some one lookin' for way more then scrap price

The odo on that would be in MILES, not kilometers, anyway. 80K miles. He's pretty hopeful on that money. A grand MIGHT be more like it.

Wow thankfully it is soo far away because I really like it. Looks to be in decent shape, maybe even red original paint. Even has the recordable cassette player on the tranny tunnel. That would be a wild car to be cruising around in. Couldn't be many left...

Hi Dave,

show us some more pics of your GY3 Polara. Please show the fender tag, too

OK. This wagon has been sitting in the field since the mid 90s. It is a genuine one owner car purchased in the spring of 72 and used as daily until 1987. After that it was used as farm vehicle until parked. Not sure when the last time it was turned over, though. The sheet metal is in surprisingly solid shape, but unable to get underneath, I suspect it may be a bit crusty. The owner has had numerous requests from derby guys to take it, but he does not want that fate for it. He is waiting for the "right guy" to take it home. The whole interior need to be done including the dash. However, given where this has been sitting, there does not seem to be obvious rodent damage. This car has been sitting in the sun for so long, and it has not been kind to it. The paint looks to be original, but severely faded. As for price, he is open to discussion, but "is not going to bend over that far".

Surprisingly straight, missing the hard-to-find taillight lenses and that grille section, but buildable. Who was looking for a '73 on the forum???

I went to look at this for one of our members, but after viewing the pictures he decided that it was a bit more than he wanted to deal with at this time. I will leave him anonymous, and if he wishes he can identify himself.

Is the two-tone a factory paint scheme, or should the whole thing be red? Very nice, too bad it doesn't have AC.

Too bad he didn't park it in the barn.....would be a very nice wagon.

Wow, even has the cassette recorder! That rusty piece above the window is just a bolt on piece.
