ATTENTION NOW LOWERING PRICE
car is now needing some metal repair work around right top corner of rear glass
it now also needs headliner replaced due to water leaking in around glass
main frame of roof and window channel is fine
I HAVE NOT REMOVED REAR GLASS
car really is suppose to have white Vinyl top
with these considerations ,now willing to sell car at discount to offset repairs.
Ebay correct headliner and vinyl top is est $200 ea car still running fine plenty driveable

Not telling how much rust repair is needed until that vinyl is off the roof. Can be extensive......

Untrue, my Imp was only in a desert region for a very brief period of time, otherwise it's been a lifelong northern car and it has no rust under the vinyl so you just never know.

Nice car. Needs pics of affected areas, and the trunk and rear seat floors. I suspect there could be more rust. You can't fix much for $200, even if you are doing it yourself. I spent $200 just on paint, hardener, reducer and a small can of all metal filler last year for the vert. I'd have to agree with the $1,000 - $2,500 estimate.

I do believe this forum is expert at roof rust treatment issues :)

basically, if there is VISIBLE damage, be ready for a bunch of NOT VISIBLE damage once you peel it back. if you want the car, it doesn't matter. like my junkpile, I love it even with its rustyass roof.

and like mr NYB - he fixed his the loving way.
