Only 25,195 of the base Javelin made.
2 Barrel carburetor with 304 v8 with 210 hp Chrysler Torque-Command Transmission, Bucket seats, factory air, factory power steering and floor shift automatic.

from front to back,as this IS the unibody of the car.

thats fairly accurate,and the amc owners are a crew unlike most as well.

Being that AMC is sort of the red headed step child...could entire Chrysler drive train be grafted into these? (Ex. LA/727/8 3/4). just a thought

yes to the Smallblock motor and trans,
i actually made it into the mags 10? years ago asking the exact same question about a 71 javelin i owned.
i specifically asked about using a magnum 360 out of a late model truck.
pretty sure it was Eberg who answered it as well.

years later,i tried stuffing a new hemi in one,but that was just gonna be too much work.

Yeh, I've always had an eye for the javs 69 to 71. I'd like to have a 70' with maybe a warmed up 340. Dreams, at least they're still affordable.
