What sort of $ should/would this sell for ? Auction buying is difficult in the extreme for buyers outwith US unless you have unlimited funds and contacts for uplifting, so usually would not even look for myself, but this is nice !

You know I like this car but that pinstripe has to go. If that is just tape and you peeled it off do you think you would see where it was ?

CM23M3C163864 is again (still?) for sale and advertised on AutoTrader and ClassicCars.com. Very high-res photos are on the NC dealer's website, where the fender tag can be seen and confirms that this is the same car. Here is some eye candy -- the car looks absolutely gorgeous.

As Chrysler was phasing into the more formal look, the C bodies seemed to look a lot less stylish to me at least, especially in terms of the front end design appeal. I also agree that the pin stripes need to go but there is no arguing about how pristine and glowing the paint and the rest of the car looks including the interior, and how many washer bottles are actually doing what they were designed to do in the first place anymore? Its condition including paint, vinyl top and interior and even the under hood appearance are indeed gorgeous.

Made an offer on this at time it was up on original auction to seller if it did not reach reserve. They sold it and buyer pulled out, then never got back to me. It then came on again with buy it now of, I think $8 or $8.5k, which is max current seller bought it for or original seller is now asking. Just FYI if anyone thinking of buying.

It then came on again with buy it now of, I think $8 or $8.5k, which is max current seller bought it for or original seller is now asking. Just FYI if anyone thinking of buying.

Aside, chaps my *** when, after I showed a seller good-faith interest with an offer, and seek a call back IF nothing works out, they dont get back with me?.

Two ways to look at that though .. (1) some buyers are deadbeats during or after auctions and sellers don't have time/cant be bothered. other hand, (2) potential buyer follow-up by a seller of a pricey item is "Selling 101" - sales success rate is lower, but it aint zero.

Anyway, only thing buggin' me on this one --- if I were a buyer but I am not -- is it isn't a 440. I know its all smogged-up, but I prefer biggest mill available in C's.

All that said $8K seems like a bargain for this clean-looking C. Hope it finds a good home. Its damn nice.
