Here's something you don't see every day. It's on Cleveland's facebook marketplace. If you click the blue f in the upper right corner, it will take you to the link.

    His notes:
The car is currently being serviced by a professional technician. The technician is completing a tune up, including carburetor adjustments, distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, plug wires, PCV, A/C belts, power steering belt, fuel filter, air filter, coolant flush & fill, engine oil filter, fresh engine oil, and etc. The car runs very well and has been meticulously maintained throughout the past 45 years. The car has extremely low mileage but is 45 years old, therefore it has some light wear and trivial defects that can be corrected by an amateur mechanic with minimal effort. The vehicle does have factory installed air conditioning but would need some minor repairs to be functional. The car was manufactured with parchment leather interior and vinyl trim. There are no oil leaks. There are no coolant leaks. The car is solid, it was stored in a climate-controlled garage, and has minimal evidence of corrosion. Some interior trim that come loose, but nothing major. The car drives great and has plenty of horsepower!

Vinyl Roof Color Code: V1L - Parchment

    Trim Code: PLL3 – Parchment Leather and Vinyl (P = Premium, L = Leather 50/50, L3 = Parchment)

Exterior Paint Code: GE7 – Burnished Red Metallic (2321)

    Exterior Accent Stripes: V7L – Parchment (23740)

Transmission Code: D35 – HD 3 – Speed Man Col. Shift (HD Automatic)

I am accepting offers on the car so please feel free to make an offer. I am located in Cleveland Ohio and you may call any time. 216-702-7860

Looks nice. It's an aftermarket sun roof, but I like the glass ones better. Appears to be a clean installation.

Gee, surely if you're asking 14.500 for a car, you'd ensure everything works? A/C belts checked on an inoperable system, fix the bloody thing if it only needs minor adjustments.

    Sounds like he's a flipper....

Actually knows nothing about this car.

Might be Richard with another car.

Nice color combo. My son lives in Cleveland, and they use a shit-ton of salt in the winter, where those lake effect snows happen all the time. So interested parties should do their due diligence with an undercarriage inspection for rust. I can't believe this car hasn't had some major salt baths in the past 45 years.

The black steering wheel looks wrong. Is it?

Didn't we decide no car was worth more than $3,000, or are Imperials exempt from that rule?

I think all '74 C bodies had black wheels and columns, or at least the earlier production cars. '75 went to color matched.

Really? Well, in my opinion, it looks bad. I'd rather see a color coordinated wheel.

    Almost everybody has said that.
The new for 74 Formals caught the steering wheel design dept by surprise. Most of them had been transferred to Lean Burn Development.
They had to fall back to using the black 73 wheel for a year.

If I recall correctly, 1973 was supposed to be the end, but when John Riccardo (Chrysler President) saw the waterfall grille he wanted it produced so, as Stan said the wheel was what they had, I suppose you could get a wheel recast in body color by one of those steering wheel restoration folks, and who would really know it didn't leave the factory that way.

It's a joke pointing out another person that's flipping and doesn't know jack about cars
Another reason for the 73 steering wheel on the Formal is the wiring on the T&T column didn't match the wiring harness on the vehicle. I believe the T&T column wiring was a GM part from the vendor. All Formal's have a short adaptor wiring harness that connects the wiring harness to the column.
