This one needs to be preserved. Reminds me of my 76 Brougham driver to parts car for my 77 PK41 (would've like the vent windows) again not mine... (price drop)

whew! done... oh wait found I'm doing it wrong, arrrrg! now done,,,, enjoy! :)

Interesting but I would say this is no patrol car having cloth seats and power windows. I would like to see the fender tag and vin.
I do see the power steering cooler there.

What The spotlight don't certify it? he he
I've seen many with the cloth seats luxo interior, cruise control etc, Detective/FBI type cars over the years. lol actually had to ride in a few not to my choosing!

AD from 30 days ago sez "This car was originally bought by Travis county sheriff for patrol/cop use" guess Travis County is pretty well off.

It’s a $2500 dollar car no matter how you slice it.:poke:

I'm usually a Chrysler (brand) guy, but when it comes to sedans, the Dodge/Plymos really look better in the fusie/formal era.

I need to go visit my RMB.

I do love the copcars with the upscale interiors and body trim.
If I ever got a Formal, such a copcar would be my target.

And not casting aspersions at anything ZedR said, but a past owner doesn't make it a copcar, but how the car was built by the factory does.
A K in the model digit in the VIN, A38, or AHB.
(this one has both)

Everything you said is true to a point - But, my 1972 Polara was used as a Texas Highway Patrol car and it has no K in the VIN and A38 doesn't appear on the Tag (though it is on a factory spec sheet found with the car).

If you just looked at my fender tag, it has no police-only options (unless the fleet F codes weren't available to the general public) - and yet it served for 4 years in that capacity.
