I was looking at this, not sure seller could get it to pass smog. In theory, seller has to get a smog certificate before selling to someone. Without smog, cant get it registered for street use. 1975 is cut off year not to have smog certificates I think.

75 and down is the cutoff for no smog required. There was a bill just introduced to make it previous to 83 model year ,so it will be 82 and down will be exempt if it happens to pass into law. If someone is looking for something like this a friend has a 73 extra cab , camper special 2 wd 400 auto . He is on the fence about selling , but if anyone is interested let me know and I can chk on it.
