Admit it, you bought it for the riddler's and they are going back on when the other car returns from paint :D

Nice car, especially with the W23s on it. Same color as my '80 Newport.

I posted this over on FJMbodiesonly today.
If I was into M body cars as much as C bodies, I'd be keeping this one.
Thought about it, but decided to stick with the cars I know & like.

FOR SALE - 1979 Chrysler Lebaron Medallion

Hey Tim! If you are willing to sell the Road Wheels separately, please let me know. Looking for set for my Navajo.

If I only had another bay on the garage. These cars were a great ride when new and this one looks like a well equipped, clean example.

Not being too familiar with placing a value on an M body, the for sale price is negotiable.
A few people have contacted me about the Road Wheels. I'm not selling them yet, only because I will mount them on the Medallion and list it on eBay to help sell the car if it doesn't sell here first.

If anyone wants to make an offer on the car, shoot me a PM, and I'll get back to you.
I hope it goes to somebody that wants to keep it.

Awesome 8 track cartridge too!

I had a ‘79 Diplomat coupe. Black over red with a slant six and four speed. Seemed totally out of character. Hated that I saw it after I sold as a derby car.

Here are some more pics that were taken for those who've asked....

I tried to decode the fender tag to the best I was able to do. Seems to have some nice options on this early build Medallion.
Still some "unknown" codes on there maybe someone can shed some light on.

Comparing this with the back of a 1979 broadcast sheet, your decoding is basically correct. Here it is again, with a few additions in bold type:

END: End of Sales Codes

Some definitions had changed, although they still basically meant the same thing. The confusion surrounding D32 and 000 has been discussed often enough, likewise the wrong description "Build Date".

The big news is that 3 between the market code and the start of the sales codes. All I can say is that it must be assembly plant-specific, because 1979 Dodge Magnum fender tags from Windsor don't show anything in that position.
