That's not a '79 grill. '79 had the quad headlights. I bought one brand new in '79.

I'm confused now. It seems the Dodge trucks, Ramcharger or otherwise used both dual round headlights, and rectangle quad headlights in 79 and 80. A quick search seems to indicate that the grill inserts were chrome in 79 and in 80 they were black but I'm not even sure about that. I can't find any definitive information on this. Does anyone have any conclusive documentation on this?

My trail duster had a chrome grill, definitely quad headlights. I loved that truck.

It is my understanding that mid 79 they changed to the quad headlights. I owned a black and maroon 79 S.E. that had the quad headlights.
