Great running nice driver.

I really like these.. I’ve heard of their Woes and challenges.. but the styling was ahead of its time.. sharp! Very sharp.

it is rather elegant looking... & I'm not a fan of these cars.

It looks pretty clean. I would think it has been converted to a carb.

Hopefully. ‘83 is my favorite year for these cars and I think the Imperials are the most elegant out of the body class. $3000 isn’t too out of line for what it is. A part of me really wishes these cars would gain popularity among enthusiasts.

So In regards to the original EFI, once converted to a carb, is it essentially a normal car again? Or are there other things connected to the system?

1) 1983 was de-contented, but otherwise identical. So unless you prefer cheaper seats, no chrome inside the headlamp doors and no sunroofs, there is no reason to prefer 1983.

2) I've heard some talk there can be issues with the EFI. Standing near an EFI car can even cause severe side effects. Some common examples include: Constipation. Skin rash or dermatitis. Diarrhea. Dizziness. Drowsiness. Dry mouth. Headache. Insomnia. Maybe someone else could tell you more about it.

And finally...
