I'd rock it! I would be worried that it lived in hurley wi and it just got a fresh paint job...hmmm rust anyone??

too bad he didnt state a price

I had one of these as a winter beater in Michigan years ago. An ex Michigan state police unit. Cop wheels, cop caps, cop shocks and an HP 360. I should have taken better care of it.

We've all been there, I mistreated many cars when i was young and poor.

I would be curious to see if he replaced the original Rochester Q-jet with something else.
Black with beige?

When I opened up the listing I knew who owns it now...I have seen it before its paint job and not that bad...I suspect he wants $4500 for it and he better cover the blue grill light in WI. or be prepared to be stopped.....

Judging from the under hood shots it was originally brown. Very attractive, brown and beige :wideyed:

I'd say well worth $4500 right?

I don't like the paint color change...where else did he cut corners??? he is somewhat of a flipper...he had and still has the Dodge Magnum Richard Petty replica "For Sale" seen here last year. I don't mind someone making a reasonable profit.

My Dad had a couple of blue Dippys. One 360 and one 318. Just another car I'd like to have.

We've had this discussion before....isn't interceptor a Ford term?

Why does this car have rear window handles and door lock? Would a police car of the time have those items?

Even on the newer cars, usually the mechanism in the door is removed.

A crown vic I recently looked at for sale actually had never had them re-installed.

I don't think the back windows were much of a consideration. We used to call them"baby windows" because they would only go half way down due to the wheel arch in the door. But the locks and handles are another story. Perhaps this car was a detective's car or the police chiefs and not used as a regular squad car?
