After 37 years I took her for a 20 mile ride this evening. She did great. Next is the exhaust system. It's all original and full of holes.

It was hard not to dump the throttle and power shift in to second gear, but I kept my cool...

Even though they're not "year correct", my vote is for 15" chromie Magnum 500s. And for the record I am not one of the drive-by disagrees.

I would also strongly advocate for a dual res master and disc brake upgrade.

Here's my 66 Monaco 500 with factory 440 and 4 speed as an example.
