300rag's 69 Monaco 500 started

Nice to see that you got it out on the road again and looking good. This thread is inspiring to anyone working on their car.

Ha! Such a product exists? It sure sounds like the right thing to use. Is it a spray or roll on rubber contact cement type glue? And to repeat all the others, very nice work, the car looks amazing!
Yes is brush on contact cement and works perfect and thanks the roof turned out really good

This Monaco is located in Germany now. Good luck to new owner. I had become offer from this Monaco, but i haven‘t buy this.

Well, she resides in Germany now. New owner sent me a few pics. He is a new member here, @VincentVega

Hello there from Germany.
Just put her to sleep a few days ago.
Thanks to 300rag and Tobias74 and to this thread (yepp, read it all) I do know a lot about that car and it´s history by now.
I already had been planning on how to get the buckets done - now I know that an 69 canadian Dodge Monaco 500 has the same interior as the 69 Plymouth Sport Fury. So I already ordered some samples from legendaryautointeriors. Just to be sure colour and grain would be the same. In between I too got some samples from sms autofabrics. Seatcovers would be more expensive but the samples are great. They even have the correct carpet (although I´m not going to change it).

Have not been here for quite some time. Proabably some of you know the problems: an annoying thing they call "work" (-: , family and some cars to take care of.

Last winter I purchased the seat covers from legendary. They really do look like the original ones. Now the old lady is doing what she is built for. Taking me and my family anywhere we want to go. She is really reliable and she even got us to our holiday destination.

The interior looks good. Glad to see she's being taken care of.
