They fit those but unfortunately my Hurst would have had Goodyears.

we can't use them.
These are Firestone wide Ovals.
They were not installed on SFGTs and Hursts from the factory.

That would have been Goodyear Polyglas GT tires.

If those would have been the correct tires I would have been in

Does anybody seriously want to spend a grand on rotten old tires?

They may look ok but tire manufacturers recommend replacement after 5 years.

Perhaps these are display pieces but no more than that.

of course, yes.

Not really rotten ones but old originals which aren't worn out.

Do they drive bad: yes
But they look great and correct

You won't drive on them long distances or in bad weather. Therefore you can use a second set of wheels/tires.

And again: Yes, some of us out here would exactly do that.

Just check out Dave Wheelers marvellous restored 70 SFGT v-code in eb7 dark blue. His Goodyear Polyglas GT tires in H70-15 are originals, too of course as there is no reproduction available
