I need help with this one. My 66 sport fury is equipped with 4 way flashers which appears to be OEM. During disassembly it wasn’t properly documented and as a result I never reinstalled it. It does not show on any schematics in the FSM so I was wondering if someone has something they can share on this. I need to now the wire placement and whether or not it requires a second flasher. The bulk heads just spliced into the existing turn signal switch.
    Thanks.

I believe that some states required the 4 way flasher to be installed on cars sold there, but for the most part, it was a dealer installed accessory.

And here's a copy of the instructions for that kit.

Wired a flasher into the black wire and that did the trick, all is working now. The wires at the switch can be put on in any manner. In the off position there is no continuity between any of the terminals. In the in position all 4 terminals are interconnected.
