Ever drive or ride in an A body ? That's taking your life into your hands.

Since his pictures suck. We can use this as a guide. I believe the 440 Abodys have a very unique Driver side manifold. Even different then what came on the 383 cars. Passenger side is the same.

Probably a real M code.

M code Dart went for 88k at Barrett Jackson

Poor pictures and not many of them. I can think of a lot of other things to spend almost a quarter of a million dollars on.

Actually used exhaust spacers to account for the taller block. The M codes were built on the 383 GTS platform and used the stock GTS headpipes. I’ve seen several articles on the exhaust manifold. Never found anything where Mopar mass produced a manifold specific to car where there were only 650 total produced.

Also, the 440 GTS began in later 68 with Mr Norm. Again, a 440 was dropped in a standard H code GTS and rebadged as the GSS.

All are automatic, manual steering, manual brakes, a friend of mine has a numbers matching one that I've driven, takes some getting used to.:steering:

Interesting....big block, no P.S. or P.B. same as my '62 300, 413 no P.S. or P.B. but a manual transmission.

Left side exhaust manifold is unique to 440 A body, part # 3462016, casting # 3462017, if you ever see one.

Like many mopars these days, you find them all done and you find them like this, without a whole lot of in between cars.

Numbers matching car. Factory big block 383 4 speed. Needs extensive body work. Front rails are rusty. Torsion bar mount is rusty. Car is complete with the exception of the intake and carburetor and center console. Pa title. 5k
