I believe Mich had three of these cars for use for a while..
Cars were returned to Chrysler... Not sure where they went after that...

As for chain drive...
GM used that in their full size front wheel offerings as Toro and Eldo ....

I knew of a few cars converted by Ferguson themselves, and in later years one or two Euro cars went into very low volume Serial production.
The one prototype popular with European car mags I remember was a Mustang that was extensively tested.

One (sort of) Mopar with AWD in Serial production just came to mind. The Jensen FF that came with a Chrysler drivetrain.

It would be really interesting to build a Fury with all wheel drive. Wonder how it would handle?

Would have helped me during my morning trip to the muffler shop today. The 71 struggled to get a grip on the snowy ground.

All of the modern transfer cases in 4wd trucks use chains, aftermarket have gear drive
