I can't imagine anyone here wanting anything to do with these cars, huh?........

Something else I just recently learned that with a dollar or so will get me a cup of coffee..

I may consider a rust free Forward Look car as my final project down the road. I'm waiting for Will to finish his project.....LOL!

Will, can you use anything here for your project???
Thanks Bob. I was watching that one but the fellow was not interested in parting it.

There is not really a lot that I need for my 61 aside from some TLC and a huge cash infusion. It runs and drives, is complete and has only 41K orignal miles.
I've been collecting NOS stuff when I can find it and am on the hunt for nice original chrome dash parts to upgrade.
I'll probably put my 65 Coronet 500 vert on the market in the spring to finance the 61's restro.

I don't like to drag a project out so once I start i'll stay on it to completion.

Please keep us posted with a lot of pictures like you did with your 300. That project was a thrill to watch.

I'll second that.....

Funny, when those cars were new in dealer showrooms, all I could do was lust after Chrysler 300Gs and New Yorkers. Now, I think that car is just outrageous, and beautiful in its own unique way. Look at that rear roofline and the instrument panel and rectangular steering wheel and the tail lights. You probably will not see another one anywhere in your lifetime. And for sitting outside for so long, it is in surprisingly good condition. It is a good thing I didn't see that auction, or I would have been sorely tempted!

In 1965, I was 17. There was a 61 Fury convertible in a car lot near us ... black with red interior. I wanted that car so bad I could taste it .... but dad said "NO CONVERTIBLES"

I never forgot that car and it was 2012 before I actually saw another one ..... I've got that one.
