66 300 brake booster help

Hello !
I*m owner of 1966 300 with budd discs, last week was driving and unfortunately brake booster seems to failed out. Air whistling sound can be heard inside when brakes applied. Boosting is gone, has to push with both foot to make it stop....Checked booster valve and it seems to be ok. Quess booster is gone
Booster is bendix style. Can send photos if needed,,,,
My question is; Have 71 chrysler booster in good working order in stock and i*m wonder does it fit in place with bolt on style. How much modifications has to made if seated in place.
Rockauto has remanufactured booster quite reasonable price, how about quality?
Any repair kit around to it?

I don't know if it will work, I know that Cardone will rebuild your booster, which is the one I have on my car. I bought my booster from O'Reillys, I just checked it out and every booster they had listed it said for cars with drum brakes in the front.

Sorry I just noticed you said you are from Finland, the Cardone probably not your best option. By the way your English is just fine.

I personally think Rockauto is your best option, they will ship to you, and have the correct booster for you disc brakes. I really don't think the 71 will work.

I have that brake booster -- and it is 1966 - 1968 "C" Body with the Front Disc Brakes only ---- and none of the rebuilders have that core --- they would have to do yours -- as an R & R (rebuild & return) and you risk --- losing --- your core permanantly.....
Are you -- or any of yopur friends coming to Fall Carlisle or Hershey?!?!?!?!? I have the Power Brake Booster, the Master Cylinder for the 1967 - 1968 (a dual -- that single 1966 is absolutely NOT available, the BRAKE ROTORS NEW!!!!, and the Front Disc Brake Pads...

Like to inform if someone like to repair bendix booster with diy method, harmonclassicbrakes from CA has a complete repair kit for this unit. Complete kit #62-382 (special order) has 13 different items and price for it 133.95 plus shipping.
Just disassembled mine and waiting for parts!!!!
