66 fury sport

Hi everyone. Well ive got a 66 fury sport 383 727 console no rust running driving unmolested car. Brakes are toast. The guy i got it from give me a disc brake conversion for it but the master cylinder and booster interfere with the pedal bracket as well as the push rod winds up about an inch or so higher than the hole in the pedal. The car is originally manual brakes. What do i need to make this work i mean i can fabricate something to make it work but id rather put oe style parts on it. Any help would be wonderful.

You need to find a set of power brake pedals. Should solve thise issues.

Thats what i was afraid of. So far ive had no luck locating a set

Any power brake pedal set 65 - 68 fron any C body should work. There's millions of them out there. Also make sure you have the right booster and backing plate. 65 - 68 C body with discs. The backing plate is the same for drum and disc boosters, so get the pedal set and the booster backing plate from a drum brake car, then you have lots of choices as to a booster that will bolt up nicely.
