I've got a small area of rust on my C pillars right above the trim that separates the fender from the C pillar (non vinyl top). My internal sail panel cover is missing, but I'm not able to find where the attachment for the trim is.
Is there a nut or nuts holding this trim in place?
Are they at the front or rear of the trim (or both)?
Does the rear window have to be removed to get this piece out?
Thanks
Scott

Two speed nuts run onto fairly long cast studs, both front and back. The holes are quite low from the interior side, and are a few inches lower than where the top of the seat back is, so the seat may block it. There's a wide chrome piece in the interior that covers where the studs are. Studs and nuts may be hard to see.

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed!
I'll dig into it Friday when I have my "covid 19 day off"!
I will need to cut out the cancer, and it goes right up to the top of the trim, too close to weld in the patch.
