Hey fellas I opted for an Autozone starter and after nearly breaking my back to install it, it makes the high pitched whine sound, so I am thinking bad starter, so I was thinking of possibly going for a newer modern starter. Any suggestions??

Is your battery fully charged, is the positive cable in good shape with clean connections at the battery?
Take the one from the car to a local starter rebuild shop and have it done correctly. This keeps your money in the USA an keeps people employed and thriving!
Lord only knows what foreign country rebuilds these parts for the big chain stores.
