$18,000??? I would think this would be a 10/10 or close to that...

This is very close to the original colour of my 66 Polara...

He would entertain serious offers. I saw the car in person it is beautiful.
Hi there 71,

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade but is the Imperial market gone this high?
What about the driver door panel arm rest peeling up and paint missing. not even washed or vacuumed...
the dash looks warped as well.
Under the hood is very average for the age.
Am I the only one seeing this?
It does look nice & straight clean lines
I'm wondering what a serious offer would be.

I guess I would have had the car detailed ahead of posting pics which would greatly increase the chance of getting their asking price
I guess my standards are too high?

This one is for sale at a dealer in Minnesota for $17,900, been for sale for some time ! 65k miles, so think this white one is a little overpriced IMO

Please don't get offended but the '67 could use a little more detailing to get it that price point. But it is very nice car. Have your buddy, he lose the peel and stick wood grain shelf liner on the doors, I can see the original wood veneer under it. Hit the rest of the original veneer with some Scotts liquid gold. Paint the window sills in black satin, and detail the engine compartment.
Maybe a days work but it would really help.

Coco, the one you posted is pretty, but if that guy went thru all that trouble to replace the brass with veneer, he should've at least did it in the right color walnut veneer.

Might not be the right wood but I still like it better than the metal trim they used in ‘68.

Oh ok.. are you close enough to that New Yorker to give me more details on suspected / possible rust areas?
I am not close enough to go look. But I did see the car in person when I was at his place and can tell you it's a very nice car and the rust is very minimal. Nate is a straightforward guy.
