This is probably a no brainer but in an attempt to do it right the first time, any help pulling the rear seats would be appreciated.

Promise to have more complicated questions down the road.

Welcome aboard!

:sFl_america2:

Push in at the bottom of the rear seat towards the trunk at each end of the straight part of the seat about an inch or so and lift up. There's one bracket on each side that the seat hooks under. Normally there's a build sheet in the springs. Be careful....that's the car's birth certificate. The seat back has 2 bolts at the bottom. Unbolt and lift the seat back up and out.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! See if you can slip your fingers in under the seat too try to locate the brackets because it does help to push down directly above them.

Thanks for the welcome and help, didn't make it out to the shop today but will get there this week. Real job keeps getting in the way.....

If this works right a picture of the car the day we pulled it out of the woods and power washed it will show up.

Sounds interesting, can't wait to see it.

Well the seat is out and there was 75% of a build sheet. Thanks for all your help, working on the floor pan and motor now.

Great news! Did you look under the front seat springs and the seat backs? May find another build sheet. They put them all over the place like under the carpet and on top of the glove box.

I did not notice it when I pulled the seat but will look. Time to cut the floor out and replace. Start on that this weekend. Any ideas on best place to get a full floor pan? Also found a second car that has a center console and white interior. It was hit hard in the front so parts only.

And that parts car will not give you your floor pans? Quality aftermarket metal does not exist for c bodies
