Hello everyone. I just found this forum and am very excited about learning as much as possible. My uncle gave me a 1967 Chrysler Newport Custom when I was 15 years old (living in New Jersey) and it was my daily driver from about 1998-2005. With only 62,000 original miles when I got it, it certainly turned heads!
Unfortunately, I was a poor young man and put about 40,000 miles on it. It eventually became to much to keep on the road and it was been parked for about 10 years. I am now ready to get back under the hood and get it roaring again.
It is so amazing how many more resources there are on the web now than 15 years ago. I ordered a reverse light lens last week and a heater fan switch on eBay. In 1999 when I needed them you couldn't find them to save your life.
Looking forward to reading about everyone's love for these big old cars.
