67 trunk mat....

Not long ago there was discussion about what the correct pattern was for a 67 Polara trunk mat. Someone posted a factory document showing it to be a houndstooth pattern, as what was in my car. I can't seem to find it with a search. Does anyone remember that?

That's what I was looking for, thanks Mike.
This info will go back to the supplier who, after extended conversation and 5 weeks, sent the wrong mat anyways.

yeah i remember my original 67 mat, it was herringbone i guess or whatever- that weird thick, coated stuff. it was so crusty it just crumbled into pieces.
Got the 'herringbone' mat from Dante's parts I think - it's not the exact same, but close... close enough for me not to care.
I just know it wasn't plaid or anything

Will, I can tell you that on '67 Furys the trunk mats were plaid. '68's were houndstooth.

Thanks Bill. It looks like the 67 Dodge, (Polara) was the only Cbody to get a houndstooth trunk mat that year.
