I was playing around trying to come up with the cost of my 69 Chrysler 300 when new. I have the original data plate, build sheet, Sales Brochure and a Price List.

On page 1 of the Price List it has listed Light Group, Driver Aid and Driver Aid (with Safeguard Sentinel Lighting), but doesn't designate which options are included in each group. Page 2 has individual lights listed separately.
Any idea which part of the price list I should use? Thx

My car has,
Safeguard Sentinel Lighting
L31 Hood/Fender Mounted Turn Signal Indicators
Fasten Belts Reminder Light
Lock Doors Reminder Light

The cars could be ordered either with accessory groups OR (in many cases) the individual items in the group as separate optioned items. So, look for the option group option numbers first. Then, see what's on your car and see if the individual optioned-items in the groups are there. As I recall, the bulk of the items in the group could be ordered separately, but not ALL of them. You might also need the option group inclusions from the Library at www.hamtramck-historical.com dealer order guides for complete verification.

To me, a good dealer would order the option groups. They usually got one or two additional items (not available separately) at a lower package price. But some dealers, would order most of those items separately to result in a longer window sticker (later, TWO-page window stickers) for more visual "pop" and a small bit of additional profit. A variable situaition.

Enjoy the research!

A01 = Light Group
A04 = Basic Group

Had to go into the 1970 Plymouth Salesman's Book to verify these things, where the items are listed, also, of each group.
