Project 1969 Imperial Crown Coupe. One of 244 produced for the model year. 440 runs. Transmission slips from second to third. Steering couple is bad (sloppy steering) it can’t be driven home. Needs work. Western car. Not terrible in the rust department. $4500.00 located in Rockford Illinois. If you like to talk on the phone, ask for my number.

Amazing colour, including the interior colour! Restoring it all wouldn't be easy, I imagine, but it would look incredible if you could get it done!

I note a lot of other interesting cars in that yard, too; looks like a real treasure-trove of big iron.

The seller had a pretty large collection of projects and donors. He was running his own body shop and I'm not sure exactly what happened, but he's been selling off an awful lot of stuff.

Oh boy, that hurts to see in that condition! That is a great color combo, but that will take a very dedicated, patient, well-funded person to bring that back. Even if you can do the work. I hope it does find the right home.

I have finally been able to enjoy driving my 69’ Imperial recently and I have to say it is an experience like no other.

I have bought some parts from the seller, Glen seems like a good guy.

$4500? That car is junk compared to the $5K (then later listed $6K) 69 2 door that was for sale a week ago on CL in Chicago.

Not often these come up for sale though, if the seller is offloading his cars/parts, price would be negotiable.

Is this the rare Turquoise paint available that year. Only a handful of the CROWN (not LeBARON) 2 doors made in this color or body style at all. Is there another 69 Imperial in same color behind and on driver's side in one of the pictures. That limo on driver side of some pictures (in the junk yard pictures) is rare too but cannot see much of it. For most of us, this would at best be a parts car. Might be restorable for some of you adventurists.

Parts car, the 2-door Crown?, no way, too rare to part it out. Edit: listing no longer available, so sold perhaps.
