THE PICTURES BELOW ARE NOT THE CAR BEING DISCUSSED.

Hey Dave I just remembered. I think there's a 69-71 ish Polara or Monaco around and down the block from me. Can you show me some the difference in tail lights? It's parked *** end out down a driveway.

I haven't seen it for over year but the last time I did I think the tail lights looked something like this

I'll drive over there later

This picture is not the car. It was one I found in the interwebs

The first one on blocks is a 1969 Polara, the brochure is a 1969 Monaco. The difference can be seen in the taillights.
Only the 1969 Polara/Monaco had taillights that have this shape, the 1971-73 are totaly different.

I drove over to see it on my way back to work. It's a 69 Polara 4 door hardtop. Has seen better days but supposedly runs. I talked to the owners sister who didn't want me to take pics until she or I OK'd with the owner. I didn't want to freak her out so I didn't open the hood and can't believe I forgot to check the VIN to see the engine designation.

I may give him a call and see if he wants to sell (sis said he did at one time) and how much if someone here would be interested but it's got a cracked dash, a piece of chrome missing from drivers taillight trim, bubbling black vinyl top, clear coat peeling (currently a nice shade of blue like B7), badly re-done seat covers, no radio (couldn't tell if hacked or not), otherwise appeared straight except some minor dings in front bumper. Has A/C vents.

it's been there probably since about 2010 at least .. has dealer paper tags on it that have been there for probably all that time.

Had cool looking hubcaps that looked like mags. I've seen them before but don't know what they are original for. About 8 holes or fake holes and an aluminum appearance.

I'm not a buyer on this one but would think maybe worth ~ $1K - $1,500 if it runs and drives decent w/o needing major work but I"m not expert.

You're late Dave it's a 69 Polara .. although i appreciate the handy ref guide since I don't know these cars by sight from year to year. I do think the reverse lights in the quarter panel extensions are a cool touch on the 70 Monaco.

Maybe this thread should become a poll to rate the *** ends of the Fusie Dodges :). Good or bad idea?

It has similar wheel covers but the centers aren't black if memory serves. I think they are grey like the rest of the wheelcover

update ...

I forgot I can't add a poll to an existing thread.

71 all the way for me, not even a discussion, grille, taillights dash assembly....

That looks like the designers forgot about them and just slapped them on, I'd swap out the extensions just to get rid of them.
