NICE INTERIOR FOR A 50k RESTORED CAR!!!:realcrazy:

Geez 50 grand for that ? Ugly interior, no seat shields, ugly door panels , Cracked dash, dash bezel cut for aftermarket radio , front bumperetts missing ( holes in the bumper) , no power windows, no cruise. way over priced IMO

"Plymouth Fury Sport Convertible. This car is a numbers matching engine, transmission, and rear end.
This car is one of twelve that was produced that year with a 440 engine. I have a binder with the build
sheet and fender tag with over $50K in receipts for the rebuild. 1969 was the last year they made the
fury sport. The car is in excellent condition."

I have seen Sport Furys but have not even heard of s Fury Sport....
Anyone wanna enlighten me......

No such thing as a fury sport ! It’s a sport fury . It’s not the last year of the fury sport , 70 was the last year of the sport fury convertible. I would run away from this car. If he spent 50 grand on the rebuild and purposely hooked up his carb spring to the ground cable just think of what he did or didn’t do the internals of that engine.

I know body work and paint is expensive...but to sink 50K into this car and it still appears to be half done is beyond me.

Negative , 69 was the last year ..

No 1970 Sport Fury convertibles. Just because someone bolted on a Sport Fury Grille to a Fury doesn't make it a Sport Fury.

Aren’t those 2 pictures I just posted 70 sport furys?
The vert is a Fury III, the other is a Sport Fury.

In 1969 convertibles were both Fury III and Sport Fury. In 1970 all convertibles were Fury III.

The 1969 could very well be a numbers matching 440 and could very well be one of twelve. Don't know how many 1969 440 Fury III convertibles were built.

The 1969 with $50,000 of restoration receipts is possible I suppose if maybe he bought everything from Murray and maybe Year One.

Being the "last" 1969 Sport Fury 440 convertible is really not that big a deal. My 1970 Fury III one owner numbers matching 440 is one of seven and is one of the last convertibles built, also not that big a deal.

My restoration was less than $50K, but I think mine looks better that that 1969.

I’m going to wager this is an E85 350 horsepower car, and not an E86 440 HP powered car.

I see a Holley poking out.

Also, all Sport Furies came standard with bucket seats and console in 1969, so this car was ordered with a folding armrest, which dictates colum shift, some what odd in a SP convert.
