Nice color! Could you please post photos of the engine bay, underside, rear quarters, trunk, trunk pan, and engine bay?

Apparently the car has been repainted and the front seats redone. Can you tell us more about the car’s history, and what you’ve done to it? Thanks!

I know.

And it has a great colour (FQ3 turquoise) from the factory.

But the truth is I have a certain opinion on the wheels and the trunkfloor.
I try to be polite therefore I haven't mentioned how much (high or low) I like those details and leave it to the Reader.

We should be honest, shouldn't we?

Carsten

You're asking me ?

Here ya go

Thank you for the extra pics!

Here are, in turn, a couple of photos of DL23L0F238871 that a friend of mine sent to me. He got them earlier this year, from what must have been a previous owner, showing the car before the rear quarter was damaged. The tag shows it was originally an FQ3 turquoise Polara, with a painted roof (no vinyl).

The second part of my question stands. Can you fill us in about the car's history, and share what you've done since you got the car?

Not offended by the wheel or trunk pan comments. The car was that way when it came to me. Rear damage and all.

To answer more questions the car was not running when It came to me.
The wiring was all messed up from ignition and at the bulk head. Too much to even list.I dug in but had to seek professional help from a great wiring guy and mechanic. Took over 24hrs of labor not counting my time. Just the mechanics time to troubleshoot and correct.
The demon carb that was on it was replaced with an brand-new edlebrock.
The 2 barrel linkage that was on it would have never worked with the 4 barrel carb, that also was corrected and now works fine with new carb.
It was pouring oil from the drain plug and leaking from pan.
All of the issues were corrected and resolved. I drove it home 30 miles from the shop without any issues at all.
Have been on fence about keeping it but honestly have a project more dear to my heart. I have the space and do not Need to sell. Worst case. I'll shelf it and it work on it next year. Just thought I'd see if someone else wanted it worse than i did.

Additional interior pics from the CL ad. I like that the non-original blue piping was done front AND back. If anyone buys this car, I have the correct (i) black steering wheel from a 1970 Polara to replace this one and (ii) switch from a 1970 Monaco to replace the missing dimmer.

I'm honestly considering pulling the ad and just taking it in for paint and body work. Won't take much and will add value.
Not a 440 but this 383 car starting to grow on me. If it doesn't sell or trade off today. Look for it revamped at the Turkey Rod Run in Novenber!

The car must have sold: the new owners posted here.
