NOT MINE 71 Gran Fury coupe $10k paisley top, interior

Very nice car -- the FB ad is here. Looks like a BL1 Sandalwood (Beige) with 360. No A/C, which is a plus for some. Other than new carpets, it looks like it needs nothing. The one question mark are the UFO lights on the rear fender tops. (Edit: another question mark is the RHS mirror, which looks like an aftermarket add-on to me).

Hard to believe that they never changed a hose on that motor, but added aftermarket tail lights! Lol

Perhaps the lights were added after someone was rear ended in this car or another giving additional lighting for those that were behind them

Love it! I could see me driving that. Load up 3 other buddies, fill the trunk with luggage and head for The Nats or Carlisle.

Not until you replace the rear shocks and springs. Even to my eyes, she sits too low in the back.

We had a 73 Dodge Dart with the tail lights mounted low in the bumper. Since we drove primarily in the snowy upper peninsula of Michigan, my dad was concerned that they would get obscured - covered with snow, so he wanted to add two huge red brake lights on the package tray. I talked him out of it.
Wasn't this the same time frame that Caddy's had low taillights but also added a second set of tail lights, flush with the trunk lid by the rear window? Or he was trying to mimic the 60's Imperials.
I am discouraged when cars have extra holes that can't be filled, like the key alarm in the front fender, CB antenna's - not original to the car. Other than the extra holes, I love this car.

Thoughts... the add-on tail lights are reminiscent of 55-56 Imperials. Maybe a car the owner had before this one? Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder as we all can attest. The air cleaner looks big for a 2 barrel and can anyone explain the headlamp washer option?

Or upper level lights if you will. I would have put one in the back window if it were me. Better than drilling holes in the top of the quarters.
