Hopefully no! Mine was scheduled for such a fate before I rescued it....

Pray tell us more. Would you care to create a thread about your car and its history? I’d love to read and learn about it as, besides fusie Dodge c-bodies, I have something for 4-door hardtop ‘71 and ‘72 New Yorkers.

Also, one question on the Yellow car in Portage des Sioux, Missouri. The trim inside the bumper seems to have surface rust, what else I see does not. What about your car or other 1971’s you’ve seen?

I really like that colour and have never noticed or seen it on a C body before. Looks like BL1, still has its factory pinstripes!

All fuselage Chryslers surface rust in those spots, save for the garage queens. I'm not sure if they were primed originally, or if the flattish, satin at best, paint holds moisture. Another common issue is the thin trim that surrounds the grill. The tiny plastic clips get brittle and break. First one to go is always the top one as above.

It looks like an original, unmolested specimen. The chrome seems OK. It would be nice to see more photos. Decent price.

I am not sure it is BL1 or GY4 (Sandlewood Beige vs. Honeydew) It seems to have a little yellow in it, more so than my avatar car at the left for example that is BL1. I guess we will know when Michel gets a photo of the body code plate (and who knows, the car might even have been repainted in the past, but I doubt it because the pin stripes are factory correct, which one rarely sees anymore even on supposedly correctly restored ones) and then even on cars with original paint, they are usually worn off quite a bit - these look pretty good. I suspect the car has had good care and inside storage during its existence. At least we can hope...............................in looking at the garage in the background and the spaciousness of the property and the size of the driveway, it looks to have had an upscale home in its past too.
