Anyone have a wiring schematic of 440 rb alt wiring?
73 fury 3 ,, the harness is spliced and cant make heads or tails of what i got..its a fleet car, police car, std style alt not leese-nevel. But its got a funky looking finned regulator just behind grille. Ive cleaned every connection..ive got power to one of the plugs on alternator and regulator. Not charging still. Thanks

That is a similar looking regulator on our 72 Plymouth Fury I "museum" car. However, it DOES have a Leece-Neville. I'm surprised it has that alternator. Later years we used the 100 Amp "welding unit" Alternator. Sadly, the 1988 Plymouth Gran Fury ushered in the Mitsubishi Alternator and all the fun started. lol

The LN alternator has different harness too. The polara i plucked engine from had motorola alt with 5 wires. Totally different alt brackets too

This is the Leece Neville setup on our 1972 Plymouth. It is a Slant 6 and the alternator is mounted on the lower left side of the engine.

The alternator looks standard, as you say.
How many field connectors does it have?
If the alternator has 2 fields, it would be simple to use a flat pack electronic voltage regulator and run the ground wire to the 2nd field.

Download a '73 Dodge Chassis manual from Service Manuals – MyMopar . Then go to page 8-148 and there's your diagram.

Yea, I know... It's a Dodge manual, but most things are the same. I really suggest you find a proper '73 Plymouth FSM though.
