In all seriousness, I'm of the school of thinking that there is nothing to be gained by putting a new 4 bbl on your stock and tired engine. You can make a 2 bbl idle like a Lexus far easier than a 4 bbl. If I could find an ultra rare 2 bbl intake off an old truck 413, I'd throw it on my 440 in a heartbeat.

No surprise that I disagree with Stan, I once took the two barrel off a 400 and replaced it with a junk yard cast iron intake, linkage and a thermoquad and the top and bottom ends both woke up.

I'm happy that there's a lot of friendly disagreement here on FCBO. There's a lot of personal experience amongst the regulars and the more that gets shared, the better informed the original poster can be to decide what is best for them.

So, at last I bought a 670 street avenger holley carb along with weiand action plus intake manifold and a new mopar performance ignition kit and new plugs. Now it's time to put all them on :)

If it runs like crap after the installation, pick up one of these.
These bibles are priceless otherwise you're stabbing in the dark.
