Thanks everyone. I’m hoping to drive it around a bit this weekend. $100 or so might be enough for gas

looks really neat. Well preserved, no cracks in dash or steering wheel. Frontseats look nice! Seems to be a pampered car. What´s the story behind it ?

I bought the car in 2001 from a guy in Spokane Washington. He had bought it at an estate sale. From what he told me is the original owner passed away in 1975 and his wife didn’t feel comfortable driving such a big car. Looking at repair receipts that were in the glove box, I figured the car had only around 8,000 miles out on it from 75 until 2001. It has 48,000 on it now. The paint has enough small chips and a few blemishes but it’s original. The interior actually looks much better than the pictures show. The seats almost look faded in the pics

Nothing too unusual for an Imperial but I guess the one that got my attention on the window sticker is the sure grip rear

wow that sounds pretty amazing, finding a car with less than 10k miles. I like it

Wow! A window sticker. That's awesome!
Did it retain it's build sheet?
I'm sure we would all love to see the trim tag.

Can someone here tell us if the Sure Grip was standard on these models? Or not?
