So, "iffy" 440 blocks are going for 12-hundred bucks now?
Of course not but you could certainly sell way more than $1200 worth of parts off of it. I sold north of $2000 off of the 65 New Yorker I parted out. It didn't have a 440 or disc brakes. If you can get it to run the eng/trans will bring $800 and $400 for the discs and $250 scrap for the hulk and the car is paid for. Plus a grand will probably buy it anyway.

Easier to complain than be rational for most people these days.
