I have sourced a correct factory 8 track and radio for my 1970 300 convertible.
I will have to notch the plastic dash face below the radio for the 8 track part of the radio.
In the sales brochure I have it has an artists rendering showing a dash with the 8 track but it is not very clear.
I am curious about how they handled the control rod that is to the left of the 8 track opening when looking from the from. I’m guessing this rod just goes through a control rod in the dash beside the 8 track opening?

If anyone here has an 8 track in their fuselage car, could you post up a photo of it so I can see how they were from the factory?

Cheers!

Here are some pictures of a spare radio bezel with the optional front /rear speaker speaker fader roller switch. Pictures 3,4,5 show an outline that should be very close to what you need to cut out for your 8 track face . From there it’s just a matter of lining up the control rod , marking it and drilling it out. It should look pretty good when you’re done . The only difference from the original would be the small silver square to the left of the notch you cut out . It’s just for show and doesn’t affect the 8 track .

The Fury is a very different face plate than the 1970 Chrysler 300 dash. Here is one from a Chrysler.

Samplingman is correct ! I should have read the first post closer . Sorry about all the pictures and confusion.

Here is a non-8 track dash, and a view from the back of the dash. I don’t see where you can retro fit an 8 track without getting the correct dash. It doesn’t seem to have simple cut out lines like the Plymouth.
