I want to give a BIG shout-out and thank you to Mr. @BLIMP (Paul) on this forum, as he sent us an Edelbrock 383 intake for our one and only 1st Generation 1966 Dodge Charger Restification project. This whole thing started through a thread by another member here, as he was selling a couple intakes. I asked him if he had an Edelbrock Performer, and unfortunately he did not. Thank you very much for looking and responding to that by the way, it is greatly appreciated. That is when Paul said I may have one, let me look, and get back to you. He did indeed look and had one, he sent over pictures and the deal was made. It was on the engine, was hardly run, and was VERY clean. He sent it to our house, and it was packaged "to the nines" as they say and very neatly. The intake looks and fits great too. If Blimp is selling something I would HIGHLY recommend him, he is a great guy. Thank you again very much Paul, we are thrilled beyond words! Here is the project, the build is on the ForBBodiesOnly or FBBO Mopar Forum and Moparts as well if anyone wants to follow it. The title is "So It Begins, 1966 Charger Restification" 20200404_113624.jpg 20200524_173928.jpg 20200524_174441.jpg 20200524_173957.jpg 20200524_174430.jpg 20200524_173908.jpg 20200524_174724.jpg

It was my pleasure Eric, your kind words are much appreciated! And the same can be said about you and your Stepfather Bob...great purchasers, paid quickly, good communication.
That Charger is going to look very sharp when you both finish it up, I'm super glad the intake wound up on your car...best of luck and please continue to share pictures.

I got to stop by @BLIMP 's house today to drop off some goodies. Good guy. Wish I could find a spot of land where I could have the space and outbuilding and be in a neighborhood to give my wife and I both what we'd want!

Jeremy stopped by today and dropped off some big block stuff...gave me a great deal, I'll likely buy more!
Thanks again, see you at the C body show this summer. 20200531_175538.jpg
