That actually was interesting. I can totally relate to the "historical" significance without seeing it as morbid... although I'd need another 10 lifetimes before I took up collecting them as a hobby.
Instead I just keep a few pics on my phone to post whenever morons start chattering about "oLd cars R unSafE! Did U sEe thE '59 iMpaLa on UtuBe!?"
A lot of old cars will absorb energy pretty well, (as these vintage photos show) but I'll readily admit newer cars do much better at absorbing the momentum of the humans within. That's a distinction that does matter.
