I am trying to plan out some work, does a 1970 Plymouth fury requires shims to align the front end? I really appreciate the help! Thanks

No shims. Alignment of the upper control arms is done using bolts with large eccentric washers on them. (I don't know if there's a more accurate term for that setup.)

...unless you're talking about aligning the front subframe where it bolts to the unibody.

Maybe he has one of those re-bodied Plymouth to a GM chassis abortion like we saw quite awhile ago.

Upper control arms are adjusted with cam bolts. (camber)
Tie rod's are adjusted with the adjustment sleeve. (toe)
If you're talking about the stub frame ... I'm not sure. I never saw any shims in anything I've had apart.

If you’re thinking of GM style shims that go in the upper control arms, that’s not the way Mopar does it. No shims.

My car is pretty original. I asked because I was misled by a town fair tire person
